Magnelis is a metallic coating that is applied to the surface of a product to protect it from corrosion. The specially formulated chemical composition of the Magnelis coating (3% Mg and 3.5% Al), provides a high level of protection for the surface and cut edges, as well as areas subject to high deformation. The compact coating acts as a barrier to prevent contact between the steel and its surroundings, thereby preventing corrosion.
