Sunny Tripower Smart Energy
Sunny Tripower Smart Energy is a three-phase DC-coupled hybrid inverter designed to power homes with solar energy and work with battery storage. The series offers a rated power of 5–10 kW depending on the model and integrated backup power for selected loads. The system can be expanded to integrate electric vehicles and heat pumps.
Key benefits of Sunny Tripower Smart Energy
- Automatic backup power: backup power for selected loads during a grid outage, with an adjustable switchover time from 30 ms to 10 s.
- Compatibility with high-voltage batteries: support for lithium-ion batteries with a voltage of 150–600 V and the ability to charge with direct and alternating current.
- SMA ShadeFix: integrated software that optimizes energy yields from the photovoltaic system, even under shading conditions.
- Energy management with Sunny Home Manager 2.0: forecast-based charging, energy consumption visualization and intelligent integration with heat pumps and electric vehicles in the expanded system.
- SMA Smart Connected: free monitoring of inverter operation via Sunny Portal and proactive notification of the user and installer about faults, in accordance with the service specification.
- Manufacturer’s warranty: option to extend coverage from 5 to 10 years free of charge under the conditions specified in the terms and conditions.
Who is this a good choice for?
This solution is for households that want to use and store energy from their own photovoltaic system and power selected loads during power outages. For homeowners planning to integrate a heat pump or an electric vehicle, it enables system expansion and energy management with Sunny Home Manager 2.0.
