BluePulse

BluePulse is a range of KSTAR energy storage systems combining LFP batteries with hybrid inverters. It supports DC- or AC-coupled photovoltaics and enables self-consumption, peak demand shifting, time-of-use tariff energy management and backup power. Integrated BMS and EMS systems and cloud-based control provide energy management and round-the-clock monitoring.

Key benefits of BluePulse

• Energy storage using LFP technology: the capacity of the battery cabinets is 197.12–232.96 kWh depending on the model, and the depth of discharge (DoD) is 95%.
• Hybrid inverters with a power rating of 80–125 kW: the maximum photovoltaic system power is 160–250 kWp depending on the model; the inverters have 8 MPPT trackers, with 2 strings per MPPT.
• Switching between grid-connected and off-grid operation in 10 ms: the integrated STS ensures this time when a single PCS converter operates with a purely resistive load.
• Parallel operation capability: support for up to 20 PCS converters in grid-connected mode and up to 10 in grid-connected and island modes.
• Battery cabinet safety equipment: carbon monoxide detection, audible and visual alarm, exhaust fan, explosion relief window and connection for supplying firefighting water.
• Battery cabinet for outdoor installation: IP54 protection rating, C4 corrosion resistance class and air conditioning cooling.
