Discover the Neostar, Comet and Stellar Series
Choosing the right photovoltaic panels for your investment is crucial. To make this easier, AIKO uses a clear naming system for its products. It lets you quickly identify the application, technology and finish of a given module. Below is a short guide to help you decode AIKO panel labels.
Step 1: Identify the product series
AIKO offers three main panel series, each designed for a different type of installation:
- Neostar: A series created with residential installations in mind. These modules are characterized not only by high efficiency but also by an aesthetic appearance that blends perfectly with residential rooftops.
- Comet: Panels in this series are dedicated to commercial and industrial (C&I) installations. They stand out with larger dimensions and higher power, allowing for efficient installation on large surfaces such as production halls or warehouses.
- Stellar: This series is designed for utility-scale applications, i.e., photovoltaic farms. These are the highest-power modules, adapted to operate in demanding conditions.
Step 2: Read the generation and finish
Each AIKO product code includes information about the generation and the type of finish:
- Generation number: A digit (e.g., 1, 2, 3) indicates the technological generation of the panel. The higher the number, the newer and more advanced the technology.
- Letter indicating the finish:
- S (Super): Full black – black frame and black backsheet. The most aesthetic option.
- P (Prime): Black frame combined with a white backsheet. An elegant visual compromise.
- N (Normal): Silver frame and white backsheet. A classic solution at the most accessible price.
Step 3: Check the power and construction type
At the end of the label you’ll find key technical parameters:
- Number (e.g., 450, 460, 475): Indicates the panel’s power in watts (W).
- “+” (plus) at the end: Indicates the panel has a dual-glass construction. The absence of this sign means standard single glass.
Examples:
- AIKO-N2S 455+: Second-generation panel (N2), in the Super (S) aesthetic finish with dual glass (+), with a power of 455 W.
- AIKO-A-MAH54-P3/460P: Third-generation panel (P3), with a black frame and white backsheet (P), with a power of 460 W.
Thanks to this simple guide, you’ll easily choose the ideal AIKO panel that meets all your requirements—both technical and aesthetic.
