1) Pitched roof – installation speed and adaptation to the roof covering
In pitched-roof systems, K2 focuses on modularity: you select a rail + fastening element for a given roof type (tiles, trapezoidal/corrugated sheet metal, standing seam, etc.), and the rest of the hardware remains consistent throughout the project.
K2 SingleRail – a universal “workhorse”
A solution with a wide range of rails for various spans and loads; enables cost-effective installation thanks to direct side connection to the rail and flexible height adjustment.
K2 SolidRail – a classic for more demanding projects
A rail system for many applications on pitched roofs (depending on the selected roof connector). In practice, often chosen where a solid load reserve and predictable system performance are key.
K2 “insertion” system (InsertionRail) – aesthetics and no classic clamps
For projects where appearance matters: a “closed” surface without standard module clamps and fast installation.
K2 MultiRail / MultiRail CSM – for trapezoidal and corrugated sheet metal
MultiRail works as a roof connector and rail in one – fast planning and installation on roofs with a slope of 5–75° for trapezoidal and corrugated sheets (depending on the variant).

2) Flat roof – ballast, anchoring, aerodynamics
K2 Dome 6 – flagship system for flat roofs
Dome 6 is an all-rounder for most flat-roof coverings, with a ballast approach based on aerodynamic research and wind tunnel testing. Variants include Classic, Xpress, Classic LS and Lifted LS (selection depends on loads and roof geometry).
On the K2 website, among other things, ballast optimization according to wind tunnel standards and a high level of prefabrication (which shortens installation time) are highlighted.

TiltUp Vento offers various configurations and angles (e.g. 20°/25°/30°), while GreenRoof Vento is designed for green and gravel roofs and easy integration with the existing layer.
3) Façades – additional surface area for PV
K2 is developing the WallPV line – from ventilated façades and ETICS insulation systems to sandwich panels and concrete.

A solution for façades, with options for different types of substructures and an aesthetic finish using insertion rails.
K2 WallPV CarrierRail
A system designed for façades made of sandwich panels (including commercial applications) – emphasis on fast fastening and a “clean” finish with InsertionRail.

For concrete façades with existing thermal insulation – the idea: as quick installation as possible without interfering with the insulation and an aesthetic, consistent surface.
4) Ground mounting – K2 N-Rack
For ground-mounted installations, K2 offers the N-Rack system, described as a “fundamentally smart” solution, with options for direct installation in the ground or on pile foundations, and tilt variants (e.g. 15° and 20° – depending on configuration).
5) Carport – photovoltaics as parking infrastructure
K2 also offers the K2 Carport system, designed as a parking canopy combining vehicle protection with energy generation. Product materials indicate, among other things, structural height parameters and applications for passenger cars and vans.
6) Design, documentation and warranty – the advantage of a “system”, not just profiles
In practice, project success is determined not only by rails and connectors, but also by the process: design → structural analysis → component selection → installation → documentation.

Usually, it’s enough to go through 5 questions:
- Type of facility: house / industrial / solar farm / façade / carport
- Substrate: tiles, sheet metal, membrane, gravel, façade, ground
- Layout: south vs east–west, angle, structure height
- Constraints: roof load capacity, wind/snow zone, obstacles
