ESA
ESA by GoodWe is a three-phase, high-voltage all-in-one energy storage system that integrates an inverter, an LFP (LiFePO4) battery and intelligent energy management. The series covers power from 5–30 kW and allows storage capacity expansion up to 108 kWh depending on configuration. The pre-wired, modular design simplifies setup and speeds up commissioning.
Key advantages of ESA
- Energy storage expansion: up to 12 battery modules per inverter, with the ability to combine batteries of different capacities as well as new and older batteries. In a single-column installation the limit is 6 modules.
- Whole-home backup power: design with two ports and switchover to backup power in under 4 ms.
- Intelligent energy management: ready to support an AI-based EMS, enabling optimization based on dynamic tariffs.
- Grid-connected and off-grid operation: supports parallel operation in both grid-tied and islanded modes.
- System protection: six-layer safety protection, AFCI 3.0 and IP66 protection rating. Battery modules include integrated heating and aerosol fire suppression.
- PV system expansion: up to 200% DC oversizing and maximum PV input power 10–60 kW, depending on the model.
Who is this a good choice for?
ESA is intended for households that need energy storage and whole-home backup power, and for businesses with small commercial sites that want to expand storage capacity and manage energy based on dynamic tariffs. Selecting the number and type of modules allows tailoring the system capacity, while the inverter limits the maximum charging and discharging power.
