ESA
The ESA from GoodWe is a three-phase all-in-one energy storage system that integrates an inverter, LFP (LiFePO₄) battery and intelligent energy management. The series covers power from 5–30 kW and storage capacity from 5–108 kWh, depending on configuration. The pre-wired, modular design streamlines setup and speeds up commissioning.
Key advantages of ESA
- Expandable energy storage: up to 12 battery modules can be connected to a single inverter; in single-column installations the limit is 6 modules.
- Flexible battery mixing: supports modules of different capacities and mixing old and new batteries.
- Whole-home backup power: dual-port design and switchover to backup power in under 4 ms.
- Intelligent energy management: ready to support AI-based EMS to optimize based on dynamic tariffs.
- System protection: six-layer safety protection, AI-based AFCI 3.0 and IP66 protection rating.
- Parallel operation: supports grid-connected and islanded operation.
Who is this a good choice for?
ESA is intended for households needing energy storage and whole-home backup power, and for businesses using small commercial sites. Modular expansion allows selecting the storage capacity, and AI-based EMS support enables energy management considering dynamic tariffs.

Empty fields indicate no data for the given module type. Battery usable energy: measured at 100% DOD and 25 ± 2°C, at 0.2P for 5.1/8.3 models and 0.4P for 6.0/9.0 models. Battery power is subject to reduction depending on temperature and SOC. For single-column installations a maximum of 6 parallel units is allowed. Cycle life determined under laboratory conditions.
