ESA
The ESA by GoodWe is a three-phase, high-voltage “all-in-one” energy storage system that integrates an inverter, LFP (LiFePO4) battery and intelligent energy management. The series covers power from 5–30 kW and storage capacity up to 108 kWh, depending on configuration. The pre-wired, modular design streamlines setup and accelerates commissioning.
Key advantages of the ESA
- Expandable up to 12 battery modules: ability to combine batteries of different capacities and old and new batteries; in a single-column installation the limit is 6 modules.
- Whole-home backup power: design with two ports and transfer to backup power in under 4 ms.
- Optimization for dynamic tariffs: ready to support AI-based energy management systems.
- Grid-tied and off-grid operation: supports parallel operation in both modes.
- System protection: 6-layer safety protection, AI-based AFCI 3.0 arc fault protection and IP66 ingress protection rating.
- Battery heating: heating mode ensures operation down to -20°C; battery modules also have integrated aerosol fire suppression.
Who is this a good choice for?
ESA is intended for households needing energy storage and whole-home backup power and for businesses operating small commercial sites that want scalable capacity and tariff-based energy management optimization. Selection of inverter power and the number and capacity of modules allows tailoring the system configuration to the user’s needs.
