ESA
ESA by GoodWe is a three-phase, high-voltage all-in-one energy storage system that combines an inverter, an LFP (LiFePO₄) battery and intelligent energy management. The series covers power from 5–30 kW and storage capacity up to 108 kWh, depending on configuration. The pre-wired, modular design simplifies setup and speeds system commissioning.
Key advantages of ESA
- Energy storage expansion: ability to connect up to 12 battery modules to one inverter, with a maximum of 6 modules in a single-column installation. Capacity depends on the number and type of modules.
- Flexible battery mixing: supports modules of different capacities and mixing older and newer battery modules.
- Whole-home backup power: design with two ports and switchover to backup power in under 4 ms.
- Intelligent energy management: ready to support an AI-based EMS, enabling optimization based on dynamic tariffs.
- System protection: 6-layer safety protection, AI-based AFCI 3.0 arc-fault protection and IP66 protection rating. Battery modules have integrated heating and aerosol fire suppression.
- Parallel operation: supports grid-tied and off-grid operation and one-click update and configuration.
Who is this a good choice for?
ESA is intended for households needing energy storage and whole-home backup power and for businesses using small commercial sites. Modular expansion allows matching storage capacity, and energy management based on dynamic tariffs helps optimize operation.
