ESA
GoodWe’s ESA is a three-phase, “all-in-one” energy storage system that combines an inverter, an LFP (LiFePO₄) battery and intelligent energy management. The series covers 5–30 kW and allows expansion of storage capacity up to 108 kWh, depending on configuration. The pre-wired, modular design simplifies configuration and speeds up system commissioning.
Key advantages of ESA
- Expandable up to 12 battery modules and the ability to mix batteries of different capacities, as well as old and new batteries. In a single-column installation the limit is 6 modules.
- Intelligent energy management — ready to support an AI-based EMS enabling optimization based on dynamic tariffs.
- Whole-home backup power thanks to a dual-port design and transfer to backup power in under 4 ms.
- Parallel operation support both in grid-connected and off-grid modes.
- 6-layer safety protection, AI-based AFCI 3.0 protection and an IP66 protection rating.
- Integrated heating and aerosol fire suppression in battery modules; the heating mode ensures operation down to −20°C.
Who is this a good choice for?
ESA is intended for households that need energy storage and whole-home backup power, as well as for businesses operating small commercial sites. Modular expansion allows sizing the storage capacity to the user’s needs, and energy management based on dynamic tariffs helps optimize its operation.
