Nexis
Nexis is a three‑phase, transformerless SolarEdge inverter designed for residential photovoltaic installations, supporting energy storage and backup power. The built‑in Energy Management System (EMS) enables energy management within the installation. Integrated communication interfaces include, among others, LAN, Wi‑Fi and the SolarEdge Home mesh network.
Key advantages of Nexis
- Series power range: rated AC output power is 8–20 kVA, and the maximum DC power of PV modules under STC is 16–40 kW, depending on the model.
- Efficiency: maximum inverter efficiency is 99,0%, and weighted European efficiency ranges from 98,4–98,75%, depending on the model.
- Energy storage support: maximum DC charging power is 28 kW, and discharge power for backup supply is 20 kW.
- Backup power: maximum AC output power at 230/400 V is 20 kVA. Transfer time to backup power is ≤ 50 ms, and automatic transfer time with the backup power interface is ≤ 3 s.
- Integrated protections: DC Type 2 surge protection with alert in the monitoring platform, reverse polarity protection, ground fault detection and arc fault detection (AFCI).
- Warranty: the product datasheet specifies a 10‑year warranty period.
Who is this a good choice for?
Nexis is intended for homeowners with PV installations who need a three‑phase inverter with built‑in energy management. Support for energy storage and backup power mode also meets the needs of households planning energy storage and off‑grid backup supply.
