KSTAR BluePulse Series Energy Storage System for C&I

The new KSTAR BluePulse Series is an advanced energy storage system (ESS) designed specifically for commercial and industrial (C&I) applications. It combines safety, reliability, cost-effectiveness and high performance with simple, user-friendly operation. The system consists of modular battery cabinets (BC100DE, BC197DE) and a hybrid inverter (KAC50DP), allowing flexible configurations to suit different needs, e.g. 50kW/100kWh, 50kW/200kWh or 100kW/197kWh.

Key features of the KSTAR BluePulse Series Energy Storage System:

  • Safety and reliability: The battery cabinets use CATL LFP cells, include advanced battery management systems (BMS) and are equipped with air conditioning. The KAC50DP inverter provides multiple electrical protections.
  • Modularity and scalability: The system can be configured with different power and capacity levels by combining battery cabinets (e.g. BC100DE with 102.4 kWh or BC197DE with 197 kWh) with KAC50DP inverters (50 kW). The maximum number of inverters that can be connected in parallel is 20.
  • High efficiency: The KAC50DP hybrid inverter features a peak efficiency of 97.5% and has 3 MPPT trackers to optimize yield from the PV installation.
  • Resistance to outdoor conditions: The battery cabinets are designed for outdoor installation (IP54, corrosion class C4, operating temperature -30°C to +50°C). The inverter has an IP65 protection rating and operates between -25°C and +60°C.
  • Easy operation and intelligent management: Integrated EMS, Ethernet and CAN communication ports, and CAN and TCP protocols enable straightforward management and monitoring of the system.
  • On-grid and off-grid operation: The system provides a rated output power of 50 kW (max. 55 kVA) both when connected to the grid and in backup power mode. For off-grid applications, additional STS cabinets are required.
