BluePulse

BluePulse is a series of KSTAR energy storage systems with LFP batteries and hybrid inverters, designed to work with DC- or AC-coupled photovoltaics. It supports self-consumption, shifting energy use to off-peak hours, time-of-use tariff management and backup power. Integrated BMS and EMS systems and cloud-based control with round-the-clock monitoring enable management of system operation.

Key benefits of BluePulse

• LFP energy storage: total capacity of 71.68–107.52 kWh depending on the model, 280 Ah cells and a depth of discharge of 95%.
• Hybrid inverters with a rated power of 20–50 kW: maximum photovoltaic system power of 40–100 kWp depending on the model and 4 MPPT trackers with 2 strings per tracker.
• Switching between grid-connected and off-grid operation within 10 ms: integrated STS; the specified time applies to the operation of a single converter with a purely resistive load.
• Parallel operation: support for up to 20 inverters in grid-connected mode and up to 10 in a grid-connected/off-grid configuration.
• Warehouse safety components: carbon monoxide detection, audible and visual alarm, exhaust fan, explosion relief window, inlet valve and connection for supplying firefighting water.
• Storage unit designed for outdoor installation: IP54 protection rating, C4 corrosion resistance class and operating temperature from -30 to +50°C; the inverter has an IP65 protection rating.
